Our students are often eager to share their stories about how they found our school and how sometimes we were their last option to graduate. We ask the simple question, “What keeps you coming back to our school?”

Here is what a few had to say:

The atmosphere, sometimes it’s better than being at home, it’s calmer. You get to organize your thoughts and there’s no rush. There’s a lot of support from our teachers. – Ashley M.

The environment. My teacher is so caring and sweet. It definitely makes it worth coming to school knowing you are coming to a loving environment. – Destiny L.

It’s a great school and it’s like they actually want you to be there. – Michael G.

The environment is way calmer and paced much better. It doesn’t feel rushed. – Andrew S

The staff, the support, the encouragement, the love — literally everything. I feel like I have a separate family with my tutors and teachers. They have all given me a chance to restart and not once did they complain or back down. They stood by me and that’s the support I needed. They gave me motivation to continue and do my work. – Valerie G.

Everybody at this school is respectful, listens, it feels like they care. The people here are so genuine. They provide me with the support I need. They give me the motivation I need to go to school for a better life and to keep fighting for my daughter. – Jayvon L.

I go because I know that the teachers will be there to help me. – Anelis M.
